Pages: Can’t specify zooming value

Pages has a zoom feature for viewing documents, and it has a decent range of options (including some fixed zoom percentages and then adaptable zoom settings that vary depending on the size of the document window). But it has one problematic limitation: it does not let you specify a numeric zooming value other than the predefined ones, which include 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, 150%, 200%, 300%, and 400%.
It just so happens that my preferred zoom setting is… 175%. Unfortunately, there is no way that I can achieve it. I can only approximate it by choosing the “Fit Width” setting, which adjusts the zoom setting based on the document window’s width — and then resizing the window until the percentage is around 175%. But then the document window is far too big for me!
Together with the problem with the way Pages displays document margins, this adds up to a rather frustrating document viewing experience, at least in my situation.
