A new development in the on-going saga with the fast user switching bug in Mac OS X 10.4
The configuration of LaunchBar that I use is quite clearly what makes the G5 Quad so slow with only 512 MB of RAM.
It turns out that running with 512 MB can be done after all… The problem clearly lies with third-party utilities.
A long-standing problem with the Sidebar and the Dock.
Microsoft cannot get even the most basic stuff right.
Faulty third-party RAM allows me to travel back in time.
Why does it jump to the top or the bottom of the list? Because it can.
For people like me, it’s a crucial question.
Looks like Dave has one of these all-in-one HP devices…
Dvorak is getting some competition.
Don’t put your mind around it. Let it rise.
Time Machine in itself will not protect against hard-drive failure.
Saying goodbye to Microsoft.
Don’t think the developers of LaunchBar and SuperDuper! have much to worry about.
