Recent Comments box: Problem with titles

I don’t know why, but my “Recent Comments” box (on the right-hand side of the home page) is not working right. Normally, when you hover over one of the date/time links, the title of the corresponding blog entry should show up either in a tool tip (Camino/Mozilla) or in the window’s status bar (Safari).

Right now, the title is “New ” for all entries. I’m trying to determine what’s wrong. Still far from knowing enough about PHP myself.

    OK, I know what’s wrong. The title tag won’t work properly if there is a quotation mark in the original blog entry title. I guess it’s a bug in the Recent Comments hack.
