Net pirates outsmart record labels

Not a very good headline — since the article doesn’t discuss any of the technological aspects of peer-to-peer file sharing. But the essence of the article is clear:

The record industry is losing touch, not just with the new digital form of music but with its fans.

It lost touch with this here music fan a long time ago.
