Mail 2.0: Now preserves message colouring after sending reply

In previous versions of Mail, there was an on-going problem with message text colouring. I have a number of Mail rules that colour my messages using a number of different colours depending on which Address Book group the sender is part of, etc. This would work fine, except that, as soon as I selected a coloured message and replied to it in Mail, the message would lose its colouring altogether and revert to black text.

I could reapply the colouring by reapplying Mail’s rules to the offending message, but it was a pain just the same.

This is one of the long-standing Mail bugs that is finally fixed in Mail 2.0. It’s a shame that you have to purchase a whole new system in order to get this particular bug fix, but I am afraid that’s the way it is, unfortunately.
