New “Apple Peel” column at

My latest “Apple Peel” column is up at It’s titled “From Radio to pMachine: Taking Mac Blogging to the Next Level” and it’s about, well, the transition from Radio UserLand to pMachine as I experienced it.

    Just thought I might point out one correction you should make to your article.

    You state that

    I think you would find that Radio keeps running fine after your subscription runs out and you can keep blogging as long as your blog is on your own server. The subscription fee is paying for hosting of your blog on Userland’s servers and the free updates that you receive throughout the year.

    This is correct, except that, since your blog’s comments are hosted on UserLand’s servers, they become inaccessible if you don’t renew the subscription.
