My latest “Apple Peel” column is up at Applelust.com. It’s titled “From Radio to pMachine: Taking Mac Blogging to the Next Level” and it’s about, well, the transition from Radio UserLand to pMachine as I experienced it.

Check it out.

Just thought I might point out one correction you should make to your article.

    You state that

“unlike Radio and other blogging services, solutions such as pMachine are not based on a subscription fee. You purchase the software, and itís yours to use on your server for as long as you like.”

I think you would find that Radio keeps running fine after your subscription runs out and you can keep blogging as long as your blog is on your own server. The subscription fee is paying for hosting of your blog on Userland’s servers and the free updates that you receive throughout the year.

This is correct, except that, since your blog’s comments are hosted on UserLand’s servers, they become inaccessible if you don’t renew the subscription.
