Laura Bush on her husband and his fight against ‘tyranny’

You’ve probably heard about Laura Bush’s “performance” during the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner last Saturday. The choice quote was:
I said to him the other day, ‘George, if you really want to end tyranny in the world, you’re going to have to stay up later.’
Am I the only one who found the whole thing not funny at all? We still haven dozens of innocent people dying every day in Iraq in the name of “freedom” and “democracy” — and Laura Bush thinks it’s good material for a joke or two?
I find this particularly revolting.
