Toast 6 and multi-session CDs

Roxio’s Toast 6 appears to suffer from significant problems when it comes to multi-session CDs. For example, I have a CD-R with three separate sessions on it. The first one (Session 1) is 117.4 MB. The second one (Session 2) is 180.2 MB. And the third one (Session 3) is 168.4 MB.
When I insert the CD-R in my internal SuperDrive, the three sessions appear as three separate CD volumes in the Finder. If I go to Toast’s “CD/DVD Copy” pane, however, the application says:
Session 1, Session 2, Session 3
119.1 MB CD-ROM
At the bottom of the window, it then says: “Only the first session will be copied.” In that case, the display shouldn’t even mention Session 2 and Session 3, and certainly shouldn’t make it appear as if the whole CD was only 119.1 MB. (This size corresponds to Session 1, even though it’s not exactly the same as the size mentioned in the Finder or in Disk Utility.)
This, however, is a purely “cosmetic” issue. What is much more problematic is that, in some cases at least, clicking on the “Eject” button in Toast will only eject the first session. The two other sessions will remain visible in the Finder even though the CD has actually been ejected. And obviously if you try to do something with these “phantom” sessions, the Finder will seize up and require a force-quit.
This happened to me this morning on a machine running Mac OS X 10.2.8. I am unable to reproduce the same problem tonight on my machine running Panther, so this might be an issue limited to Mac OS X 10.2. But it’s good to know that Toast 6 appears to have at least some problems with multi-session CDs.
