Apple cares

While I frequently complain about the time it takes for Apple to fix seemingly simple, yet very annoying bugs in their system software, I should also point out that Apple regularly give us good reason not to give up on them.

Now that Panther is out (although I have yet to receive my copy), Apple have started sending out notifications regarding bugs reported to them through the Bug Reporter page.

These notifications are titled “Bug Resolution” and indicate that the bug reported can no longer be reproduced in Mac OS X 10.3. In other words, it has finally been fixed.

Glad to hear!

I have received two such notifications thus far, both regarding bugs that I reported a long time ago. I hope I will be getting more of them!

Not a peep. It’s too much to ask, apparently.
