Of course, it remains to be seen what exactly it lets you do with your music. But at least it sounds like Apple might just have found the ever-elusive compromise between copyright protection and digital freedom. (Of course, it doesn’t hurt that, for the recording industry, this will effectively be a experiment on a small portion of the actual potential market…)
