		<description>I have run in to the update issue as well. In the end I just gave. I never noticed any problems with the features of Acrobrat, so I just turned off the &#039;Check for Updates&#039;

I don&#039;t think it is wrong to expect better quality from what is pretty expensive software.</description>

My Adobe applications have recently taken to giving me a message on startup saying &quot;A required component was not found. Please restore the Adobe [whatever] folder from your original CD.&quot; The only button is labeled &quot;Quit,&quot; and the startup process pauses while the dialog is up. However, when I press &quot;Quit,&quot; the applications finish starting up and work fine.</description>
