Excellent news for Prince fans: In addition to the brand new Prince album entitled 3121 coming out on March 21, Rhino will release a new 2-CD compilation of hit Prince songs. The really good news about this release is that it will include several versions of hit songs that, up until now, had only been available on vinyl or on “rare,” semi-legit European CD releases.

It’s still not the comprehensive re-release of remastered albums with bonus tracks that Prince fans are dreaming of, but it’s a start.

And the two new singles “Black Sweat” (by Prince) and “Beautiful, Loved & Blessed” (by new Prince protégée T?mar) are coming out next week.
